PENGARUH UMPAN TERHADAP HASIL TANGKAPAN IKAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PANCING TANCAP DI SUNGAI LANGKUP JANGKAT KABUPATENMERANGIN

Abstract

This research will be carried out from February 2015 to March 2015 in the waters of the Langkup River, Tangga, Merangin Regency. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of different types of bait on fish catches in the Langkup River and to determine the types of fish caught with stick-on fishing equipment. The research method used in this research is direct field observation, namely by catching with a stick fishing pole in the waters of the Langkup River,ANGKAt District, Merangin Regency. At station I called Lubuk Simantung which is 6 km from Rantau Kermas Village with an altitude of 900-1000 meters above sea level, with a depth of Lubuk 4 meters to 5 meters, length of Lubuk 10 meters, width of Lubuk 5 meters to 6 meters. At this location there is no community activity, Station II is located in Lubuk Rejang Panas not far from Lubuk Simantung which is 5 km away with a depth of 4 meters, Lubuk length 7 meters, Lubuk width 6 meters. At this location there is no community activity and Station III is located in Lubuk Batu Tunggal which is 7 km from Station II, which is still in Rantau Kermas Village,ANGKAt District, Merangin Regency, Jambi Province. with a depth of 5 meters, a length of 10 meters, a width of 7 meters. There are no community activities at this location. Operation of this equipment is carried out from 17.00 in the afternoon until 06.00 in the morning.In this research, the design used was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 3 bait treatments and 5 groups, where the treatments used fresh bait, namely: frogs, small fish and worms. From the research results, it can be concluded that the use of small fish bait on the weight and length of the fish caught shows a very real influence compared to the treatment of eels, frogs and worms.
